We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual(s) to join our team. Our company focuses on routine landscape maintenance, both Residential and Commercial, as well as hardscaping, tree work and drainage. The ideal candidate(s) is someone who is eager to start their career in the landscaping industry and interested in growth opportunities within the company.
Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mulch, lawn care, garden bed upkeep, and some tree care.
- Flexibility and willingness to learn all the ins and outs of routine landscape maintenance as well as hardscaping, tree work, drainage, etc.
- Follow proper landscaping techniques and safety protocols.
- Report repairs needed on vehicles or equipment in a timely manner to keep equipment in good working order.
- Work in a variety of weather conditions (Hot & Cold Temperatures, Rain, Snow, etc.)
- Preform snow removal tasks throughout winter season.
Experience/Requirements:
- 1+ Years of experience in landscape maintenance, tree work, construction, or related field is preferred.
- Must have a valid Driver's License (Required)
- Demonstrated ability to follow instruction from landscape crew lead.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate with the crew leader, crew and clients.
- Ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions year-round.
- Knowledge of landscape construction such as hardscaping, sod installation, etc.
- Knowledge of sitework/excavation such as grading, trenching, etc.
- Ability to drive with a truck and trailer.
- Ability to run all grounds maintenance equipment is required.
- Willingness to learn how to operate small heavy machinery and other equipment not related to routine landscape maintenance.
** Pay rate is dependent upon proven experience & abilities **
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
