Filter Service Technician / Shop Associate
Our filter service company is seeking a dependable, hardworking team member to join our shop operations team. This position is responsible for cleaning, repairing, organizing, and stocking commercial grease filters used in restaurant exhaust systems.
No prior filter experience is required—we provide training. Experience in warehouse, maintenance, shop, or industrial environments is helpful but not required.

Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and stay productive throughout the day
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, and perform repetitive movements
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is helpful
- Previous warehouse, shop, or maintenance experience is a plus
Job Responsibilities
- Clean commercial grease filters using a pressure washer and approved cleaning solutions
- Inspect and repair filters using hand and air-powered tools
- Sort, organize, and stock filters by size and type
- Load and unload filters from shelves, carts, vehicles, tanks, racks, and other equipment
- Operate an overhead electric hoist and trolley system
- Move materials throughout the work area using carts and other equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by mopping, squeegeeing, and removing standing water
- Wash and dry shop rags and cleaning materials
- Service and maintain cleaning tanks and related equipment
- Follow all company safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Work Environment
This position works in an industrial shop environment where floors may be wet, and safety is always a priority. Employees are required to wear appropriate PPE, which may include:
- Safety glasses
- Gloves
- Steel-toed, non-slip footwear
- Long sleeves and pants
- Hard hats and other protective equipment as required
