SouthWest Insurance Solutions is seeking a motivated and experienced Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance Producer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a driven sales professional who excels at building relationships, identifying client needs, and delivering tailored insurance solutions. You will play a key role in expanding our personal and commercial lines book of business while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and compliance.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate new business through referrals, outbound outreach, networking, and marketing initiatives.
- Assess clients’ needs and recommend appropriate P&C insurance products, including auto, home, renters, umbrella, and commercial lines.
- Prepare and present quotes using comparative raters and carrier portals; clearly explain coverage options and value.
- Bind coverage and complete all required documentation in accordance with carrier underwriting guidelines and state regulations.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline, track leads, and follow up consistently to maximize conversion.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to support retention and referrals.
- Stay current on carrier products, underwriting changes, and market trends to ensure accurate and competitive recommendations.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly production goals established by the agency.
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty Insurance License (NM, AZ, or TX).
- Proven experience in insurance sales or a related field; 1–3 years preferred.
- Strong understanding of personal lines; commercial lines experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with agency management systems, comparative raters, and carrier portals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting client relationships.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse communities effectively.
- Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and comfortable in a performance‑driven environment.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Must pass a background check.
