The selected candidate will teach 12 to 15 credit hours of undergraduate level courses each semester from
the college’s curriculum in the General Education program, specifically World History and African-
American History courses. Additional duties include academic advisement of students and participating in
professional meetings, and service on various college committees.
A Master’s degree in History is the minimum qualification for this position. However, an earned Ph.D. along
with previous college-level teaching experience is strongly preferred.
