The Loh lab is now seeking a postdoctoral fellow to study the mechanism and therapeutic use of neurotrophic factor-alpha1 in treating Alzheimer's Disease and traumatic brain injury in mouse models.
Our research explores the use of gene therapy, exosome technology, and small molecules to treat Alzheimer's Disease, traumatic brain injury, and other neurodegenerative disorders. Specifically, prospective postdoctoral trainees will study the mechanism and therapeutic use of neurotrophic factor-alpha-1 in treating Alzheimer Disease and traumatic brain injury in our mouse model.
We are seeking a Ph.D., M.D. or M.D./PhD. fellow (U.S. or permanent resident, or foreign visiting scientist with less than 5 years since degree) with experience in neuroscience, including mouse behavioral assays, neuroanatomy, and/or biochemistry, to advance this exciting pre-clinical research.
