Responsibilities
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move products safely and efficiently
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, and inventory management software to track stock levels accurately
- Perform order picking and packing for shipment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to shipping logistics standards
- Conduct data entry tasks related to shipping & receiving, stock updates, and order processing using tools like Microsoft Office and AS400
- Maintain organized storage areas by stocking shelves properly and conducting regular inventory counts to prevent discrepancies
- Assist with international trade compliance and trade regulations when handling cross-border shipments
- Support warehouse distribution activities by coordinating with logistics teams to optimize delivery schedules and ensure timely order fulfillment
Experience
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or distribution center is highly preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse operations including stocking, order fulfillment, shipping logistics, and inventory management software such as ERP or MRP systems
- Hands-on experience with warehouse equipment like forklifts (certification preferred), pallet jacks, and order pickers
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipment quantities accurately
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail for maintaining precise records of shipments and inventory updates
- Excellent customer service abilities to support internal teams and external partners effectively
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and trade compliance practices is a plus
