Responsibilities
- Assist dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including examinations, cleanings, restorations, and surgical interventions
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to uphold strict infection control standards
- Take and develop diagnostic radiology images, ensuring accurate positioning and safety protocols are followed
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and dental medical documentation with precision and confidentiality
- Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care to promote ongoing wellness
- Handle manual tasks such as patient positioning, chairside assistance, and equipment handling with care and efficiency
- Maintain clear communication with clients regarding treatment plans, procedures, and follow-up care
Experience
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar clinical support role within a dental or medical setting is preferred but not required. We will offer on-the-job training for the right candidate
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients of diverse backgrounds and provide exceptional patient service
