Compensation
$15.16 Hourly + Tips ($4 - $9/Hour)
Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring freshness and presentation.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) system to process retail transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Manage customer orders with professionalism.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace by following proper sanitation protocols, including food handling, bussing, and kitchen sanitation.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively to support food preparation activities.
- Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and manage retail sales transactions with attention to detail.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, taking orders, and ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments such as quick service or fast food restaurants is desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems is preferred; ability to operate cash registers confidently.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods and ability to stay busy during slower periods.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper sanitation procedures is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations.
- Experience working in retail or grocery store environments is a plus; familiarity with food industry standards is beneficial.
- Able to work weekends.
- Able to keep shift commitments and work with others when substitutions are needed.
- Be a Team Player.
- Notify management as needs arise, such as equipment failures, low inventory, etcetera.
