Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Hydrovac Operator to join our growing team here at MBI. As a Hydrovac Operator, you will be responsible for operating hydrovac trucks and equipment to safely excavate and expose underground utilities and pipelines using high pressure water and vacuum systems.
Responsibilities
- Operate hydrovac trucks and related equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform non-destructive excavation to locate and expose underground utilities.
- Ensure the safety of yourself, your crew, and the public at all times.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment.
- Complete required documentation and reports accurately and promptly.
- Follow all company policies and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid CDL (Class A or B) with a clean driving record preferred.
- Previous experience operating hydrovac or vacuum trucks is an asset.
- Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL OUT OF TOWN FOR EXTENDED PERIODS!
- MUST BE WILLING TO WORK OVERTIME, NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS.
