If you enjoy figuring out how things work, solving mechanical and electrical problems, and taking pride in bringing equipment back to life, this could be the career for you. We're ideally looking for someone with a few years of experience repairing industrial equipment, welding machines, or electrical/mechanical systems, but we're also willing to train someone with strong mechanical aptitude, electrical troubleshooting skills, and a genuine desire to learn. Every day brings something different. You'll troubleshoot welding equipment, perform repairs, learn directly from manufacturers, and become a trusted technical resource for both customers and coworkers.
What You'll Do

- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, upgrades, and warranty repairs.
- Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose equipment issues.
- Test, calibrate, and verify equipment performance to ensure repairs meet manufacturer specifications.
- Prepare repair estimates and recommend repair or replacement solutions that best meet customer needs.
- Communicate repair status, technical findings, and recommendations to customers throughout the repair process.
- Occasionally travel locally to customer facilities to perform field service and equipment repairs.
- Support our welding equipment rental department through inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
- Maintain accurate repair records using our business systems.
- Participate in paid manufacturer training and earn factory certifications from leading equipment manufacturers.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe service department while continually looking for ways to improve quality and efficiency.

- Quality-Focused and Detail-Oriented: You take pride in doing the job right the first time, paying attention to the details that ensure reliable, long-lasting repairs.
- Driven to Learn: You enjoy expanding your technical skills and take pride in mastering new equipment, diagnostic techniques, and repair procedures. You're excited to earn manufacturer certifications and continuously improve your craft.
- Safety-Conscious and Quality-Driven: You work safely around electrical and mechanical equipment, maintain a clean and organized work area, and take pride in performing repairs the right way while following established safety procedures.
- Self-Motivated Team Player: You work well independently while collaborating with others to meet deadlines and support the success of the entire branch.
