A globally recognized premium lifestyle fashion brand is preparing for a major expansion into the U.S. market and is seeking an experienced Finance Lead to play a pivotal role in establishing its U.S. finance organization.
This is a unique opportunity to join the business during a transformational growth phase and help build the financial infrastructure, governance, and operational foundation for a new U.S. entity. Working closely with the Global CFO and international leadership team, you will have significant visibility and influence on the company's long-term success.
As the Finance Lead, you will oversee all aspects of the U.S. finance function while partnering with global headquarters to ensure financial excellence and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities

Lead all U.S. finance operations, including accounting, FP&A, reporting, compliance, and financial governance

Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close, tax filings, and statutory reporting

Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and mid-term financial plans while identifying business risks and growth opportunities

Prepare financial reports for executive management, headquarters, auditors, and regulatory requirements

Ensure compliance with internal controls, approval policies, and corporate governance standards

Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insights that support strategic business decisions and profitable growth

Collaborate with headquarters and external partners to establish scalable finance processes and operational infrastructure

Support ERP, IT, and cross-functional business operations to improve efficiency and business performance

Assist in building the financial and operational framework for the newly established U.S. organization

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field

7+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience

Strong expertise in FP&A, accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting

Experience managing month-end/year-end close and tax-related processes

ERP experience (SAP or similar systems)

CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification is highly preferred

Native-level proficiency in both English and Japanese
