Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is crucial in helping clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life through effective behavioral strategies.
Duties
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.
- Collect and record data on client progress, ensuring accurate documentation of behavioral changes.
- Assist in the development of care plans that address each client's unique needs.
- Educate clients and their families on strategies to support behavioral development and skill acquisition.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations while handling medical records and documentation.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive support for clients.
- Utilize medical terminology appropriately in documentation and communication.
- Engage with children in various settings, including home, school, or community environments, to promote learning and development.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is required.
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of special education practices is a plus.
- Strong understanding of medical documentation practices and care plans.
- Familiarity with data collection methods relevant to behavioral analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
