Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled HVAC Technician/Sheet Metal Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) systems, as well as sheet metal components that support building comfort and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and safety across a variety of commercial and residential projects. Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, HVAC design plans, and technical manuals to accurately execute installations and repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure reliable operation and extend system lifespan.
- Conduct field service visits to diagnose issues with existing systems, perform appliance repairs, and optimize system performance.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations related to HVAC/R systems.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in construction, property maintenance, or service technician roles.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and understanding HVAC design principles.
- Hands-on experience with plumbing systems, refrigeration units, air conditioning units, and boilers is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools confidently.
- Skilled in equipment repair and general maintenance procedures.
- Familiarity with field service operations involving appliance repair or HVAC/R troubleshooting.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preffered.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems such as boilers and other heating components; mechanic experience is a plus.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
