Pest Control Technician
We are looking for a dependable, customer-focused Pest Control Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is professional, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and takes pride in doing quality work. This position is best suited for someone who enjoys working independently, solving problems, and providing excellent service to both residential and commercial customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform pest control services at residential and commercial properties
- Inspect properties to identify pest activity, entry points, and conditions that may contribute to infestations
- Determine the proper treatment plan and safely apply pesticides and other pest control methods
- Communicate clearly with customers about services performed, recommendations, and prevention tips
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner
- Maintain accurate service records and complete required paperwork
- Follow all safety procedures, product labels, and company guidelines
- Keep service vehicle, equipment, and tools clean, organized, and properly maintained
- Recommend additional services when appropriate to help customers protect their home or business
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous pest control experience is required
- Knowledge of common pests, pest behavior, and treatment methods
- Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and pest control equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must be reliable, professional, and willing to learn
