Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Employment Law Attorney Associate with 3 to 5 years of litigation and counseling experience to join our growing labor and employment practice. The ideal candidate will manage a diverse caseload involving discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and wage-and-hour disputes, FEHA, FLSA. This role requires deep familiarity with California employment law and the ability to handle cases through all phases of litigation.. In this role, you will assist of all litigation phases including drafting pleadings, managing discovery, taking depositions, and appearing in court.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD)
- Active license and good standing with the State Bar of California
- Plaintiff's employment law litigation & trial experience
- Proven and successful experience with trials, class action and/or PAGA litigation
- PAGA, FEHA, FLSA and general labor and employment law expertise
- Minimum 3+years of employment law litigation experience
- Independently manage a full caseload of employment law matters from inception through trial or settlement
Preferred:
- Trial experience or significant trial preparation experience
- Experience in both plaintiff-side and defense-side employment litigation
- Familiarity with Los Angeles and California state courts
