Damselfly Flowers, Sales Associate - Supermarket Floral Department
Located inside DeCicco & Sons Markets | Must have reliable transportation
Damselfly Flowers is looking for dependable, self-motivated Sales Associates to help bring good vibes and great service to our dreamy supermarket floral department locations within DeCicco & Sons.
This role is perfect for someone who’s organized, friendly, and loves working independently. You’ll be the face of our brand inside DeCicco & Sons, keeping displays fresh, chatting with customers, and running your own vivacious flower shop within the store.
Important to note: While you'll work with flowers daily, we must stress that this is NOT a floral design position.

Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers and driving traffic with an inviting and proactive demeanor (in-person, virtually, and over the phone).
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work space for all.
- Flower Processing - Intake and organization of floral shipments, inspect flowers and plants for quality.
- Ensure the proper care and maintenance of flowers, plants, and related products, including watering, trimming, and maintaining freshness.
- Consistently replenishing and refreshing throughout your shift.
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures.
- Consistently maintain attendance and adhere to the established work schedule.
- Efficiently execute assigned tasks within established timeframes.
- Assisting in training team members as needed.
- Process deliveries including fresh flowers, greenery, potted plants, dried florals, dry goods, packaging materials, supplies, etc.
- Maintain a positive and respectful relationship with internal and external grocery store employees.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of customer service experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift 30lbs as needed
- Frequent bending, lifting, and carrying of flower arrangements and supplies
- Work in varying temperature and humidity conditions
- Reliable transportation to and from job location
Schedule:

Compensation: $18 per hour
Work Location: In person. Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
