Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Conduct regular inspections of premises, including access points, to deter unauthorized entry.
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent disturbances.
- Provide assistance in conflict management situations, utilizing de-escalation techniques when necessary.
- Prepare detailed reports of incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during emergencies or investigations.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or security breaches.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in security preferred.
- Experience in conflict management or crisis intervention is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A background in military service or law enforcement is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required.
