$15.00 Plus Based on Experience
MONDAY- FRIDAY, (Saturday Shifts may occasionally be necessary /Two Days Off Per Week).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Car Detailer
- Uses multiple types of cleaning solutions and equipment.
- Details vehicle according to specific instructions.
- Vacuums carpets and upholstery.
- Cleans and vacuums the trunk.
- Cleans out ashtrays and cup holders.
- Conditions vinyl and leather.
- Polishes the dashboard, steering wheel, trims, and moldings inside the vehicle.
- Cleans door frames and instrument panels.
- Reconditions the vehicle’s exterior.
- Cleans all glass on the vehicle, inside and out.
- Cleans all mirrors.
- Steams the engine.
- Waxes and buffs vehicles after washing.
- Uses air compressors and special equipment to dry the inside and outside surfaces.
- Uses various paints, waxes, and dyes to protect the leather parts of a vehicle’s interior.
- Washing and rinsing vehicles.
- Dries floor mats.
- Cleans headlights, brake lights and taillights.
- May fix minor scratches and chips with touch-up vehicle paint.
- Transporting Vehicles locally.
- Other Duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Good customer service and team-work skills.
- Must have an eye for detail.
- Good at following instructions.
- Takes pride in results.
- Exceptionally on-time” attendance (dependable.
- Right to Work in USA/Documentation.
- Valid Driver’s License.
Work Environment
- Majority of your time will be working inside and outside of vehicles.
- Must be able to work with strong detergents and chemicals.
- Motor skills with full flexibility (Standing/Walking/Lifting/Squatting/Bending/Speaking/Hearing necessary for safety in this position.
- Employer will provide all cleaning products and protection gear.
