Saint Benedict Catholic School seeks a Full-Time Elementary Teacher to begin in the Fall of 2026. The school is committed to partnering with parents and providing a traditional education in a faith-filled environment. It is centrally located in Richmond’s Museum District and has an enrollment of over 200 students.
The teacher will partner with parents and fellow teachers to foster and promote student learning and moral development through a classical Catholic curriculum. The teacher will teach a grade-level elementary class covering all curriculum subject areas except Physical Education, Art, and Music.
Applicant must
- hold a bachelor’s degree or better from an accredited college or university
- have an advanced knowledge of early childhood education and reading acquisition strategies
- have a passion and commitment to classical education and Latin
- be able to communicate verbally and in writing clearly
- upon employment, be able to pass criminal background checks
- a strong understanding of Catholic traditions and beliefs
- hold a Virginia Teacher Certification or have the qualifications necessary to obtain one upon hire
