We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including exams, cleanings, fillings, crowns, root canal therapy and extractions.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments using dental terminology and medical records to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Utilize dental imaging technology and maintain aseptic techniques to ensure infection control and patient safety.
- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in four-handed dentistry to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
- Document all procedures accurately within electronic health record systems adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and treatment options to promote long-term wellness.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and current best practices in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, documentation standards, and infection control protocols.
- Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy (endodontics).
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on patient assessment and effective communication.
- Understanding of HIPAA compliance and medical records management for confidentiality and legal adherence.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques for optimal workflow.
