A healthcare organization is seeking a compassionate and skilled Cardiac Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join its patient care team. This position offers an opportunity to care for patients with cardiac and medical-surgical conditions while working in a collaborative environment focused on quality outcomes and exceptional patient experiences.
Evaluate patient conditions and identify changes that require clinical intervention
Deliver nursing care based on individualized treatment plans and physician orders
Administer medications, treatments, and therapies while monitoring patient responses
Monitor cardiac and medical-surgical patients and communicate significant findings to the healthcare team
Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Educate patients and family members regarding diagnoses, medications, recovery expectations, and preventive health practices
Promote patient safety and adherence to established clinical protocols
Assist with discharge planning and continuity of care initiatives
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for licensure
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Previous experience in medical-surgical, telemetry, cardiac, or acute care nursing preferred
Strong critical-thinking, organizational, and communication skills
