Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlists efficiently to minimize wait times
- Escort guests to their tables, ensuring a welcoming and professional first impression
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of host stand, dining areas, and service stations
- Handle guest inquiries courteously via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally to enhance overall satisfaction
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and billing processes
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a host or hostess in a food service or restaurant setting is preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse guests confidently
- Knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Experience in customer service, hospitality, or hotel environments is a plus
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Excellent guest relations skills with a focus on creating memorable experiences
- Familiarity with serving procedures and guest services standards is beneficial
