Capitol Nissan & Infiniti is seeking an experienced Automotive Dealership HR & Payroll Administrator to join our team.
This is NOT an entry-level HR position. We are only considering candidates with recent automotive dealership HR and payroll experience.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience processing commission-based dealership payroll, supporting Human Resources operations, maintaining employee records, and understanding the fast-paced environment of a franchised automotive dealership.

Do not have automotive dealership HR and payroll experience
Have only corporate, healthcare, retail, hospitality, manufacturing, or general office HR experience
Have never processed commission-based payroll
Have never worked in a franchised automotive dealership
Applicants who do not meet the required dealership experience will not be considered.
Process bi-weekly payroll for a high-volume automotive dealership
Accurately calculate and process commission-based payroll, bonuses, incentives, and compensation plans
Maintain employee personnel files and HR documentation
Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and offboarding
Support employee relations and day-to-day Human Resources functions
Administer employee benefits and assist with enrollment
Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, labor laws, and company policies
Prepare payroll reports, audits, and HR documentation
Partner with dealership leadership to support staffing and workforce needs
Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and accuracy with employee information
Minimum 2 years of HR & Payroll experience within a franchised automotive dealership
Experience processing commission-based payroll for sales, service, and technician pay plans
Strong understanding of automotive dealership compensation structures
Experience with onboarding, employee records, benefits administration, and HR compliance
Experience with dealership payroll systems such as ADP, CDK, Dealertrack, Reynolds & Reynolds, Paycom, or similar
Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, employment laws, and HR best practices
Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced dealership environment
