Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our team at a bustling wedding/event venue located in the heart of the downtown Pendleton district. The position offers flexible hours primarily on Fridays and Saturdays, with occasional shifts on Thursdays and Sundays. As a crucial member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in our kitchen and dishwashing area.
Duties:
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans promptly and efficiently
- Keep dish room clean and organized
- Clean and sanitize kitchen counters
- Perform sweeping, mopping, and trash duty as needed
- Collaborate with another dishwasher to ensure smooth operations
- Assist servers when required by scrubbing and filling dish racks
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment is preferred
- Familiarity with kitchen operations and food handling practices
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to assist colleagues
- Dependable and reliable with excellent time management skills
