Job Summary
Sheraton Pittsburgh Airport Hotel is seeking enthusiastic, dependable, and customer-focused Banquet Servers to join our Food & Beverage team. In this role, you will provide exceptional service during banquets, weddings, conferences, and other special events while ensuring guests enjoy a memorable dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including tables, chairs, linens, and place settings.
- Serve food and beverages in a professional and timely manner.
- Greet guests courteously and provide exceptional customer service throughout each event.
- Refill beverages and respond promptly to guest requests.
- Clear tables and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of banquet areas during and after events.
- Assist with event setup, breakdown, and cleanup.
- Work closely with banquet captains, kitchen staff, and fellow team members to ensure successful event execution.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and Marriott brand standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Previous banquet, restaurant, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Must be dependable, professional, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Availability to work PM shifts, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
