This is a 1099 independent contractor position. You set your own schedule and caseload while Elera's full back-office team manages all administrative work behind the scenes.
What Elera takes care of:
- Insurance credentialing with national and local payers
- Patient referral pipeline — no cold outreach or marketing required
- Billing, claims, and all insurance follow-up
- Compliance and regulatory requirements
- Website setup and online presence management
- Ongoing clinical mentorship and peer community
What you'll do:
- Provide medical nutrition therapy to pediatric patients via telehealth and/or in-person
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized nutrition care plans
- Collaborate with families and caregivers
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Requirements:
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or RDN
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Virginia
Preferred:
- Experience in pediatric nutrition
- Telehealth or outpatient private practice experience
