Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Electrophysiology/Cardiology, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional electrophysiology care. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with our EP physician. Hours will be 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday-Friday with a salary of $110,0000.00 annually or mutually agreed upon.
Knowledge and Skills: Must have in-depth knowledge of advanced practice nursing, clinical pathways, evidenced-based practice, healthcare quality, patient safety, performance improvement, regulatory standards. Able to: demonstrate excellence in patient care, manner and nursing professionalism; apply theoretical concepts to clinical practice and continually expand knowledge base and clinical skills with a focus in areas(s) of the specialty. Able to: read; write legibly; communicate in English (and Spanish preferred) with professional quality; perform technical patient care activities. Able to: relate and communicate positively, effectively and professionally with others; be assertive and consistent in following and enforcing policies; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; lead, supervise and collaborate; accept direction. Able to: think critically; work independently with minimal supervision; manage assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical and physical, exam, review of systems etc.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with various EP/Cardiovascular conditions, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Provide patient education on lifestyle modifications, medication adherence, and disease management strategies to promote long-term health.
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Nurse Practitioner license with certification in cardiology preferred.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, CPT coding, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding standards for billing and documentation purposes.
- Need to be credentialed with all major insurance companies.
Pay: From $110,000.00 per year
