Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary fitness center environment while adhering to infection prevention, safety, and customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect fitness equipment and high-touch surfaces.
- Maintain locker rooms, restrooms, showers, and common areas.
- Clean glass doors and windows as needed.
- Perform floor care (sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum).
- Complete logs and inspections.
- Follow safety and infection control standards.
- Report maintenance concerns.
- Provide customer service.
Pool Responsibilities
- Maintain pool area cleanliness including deck, floors, and surrounding surfaces.
- Clean and disinfect pool seating areas and high-touch surfaces.
- Maintain dressing rooms associated with pool area.
- Ensure proper sanitation standards are followed in wet environments by using proper disinfectant for proper contact time.
- Monitor and report any safety hazards in pool or surrounding areas.
Education

High school diploma/GED preferred.
Experience
-
Experience with cleaning equipment preferred.

Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions, and to communicate effectively.
Physical Demands

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and tolerate prolonged periods of standing and walking, frequent bending, kneeling, and/or climbing.
