About the Role
Join our logistics team as a Warehouse Material Handler, where you will play a critical role in maintaining the flow of goods within a specialized cold storage environment. You will leverage your expertise in forklift operation and inventory management to ensure that every shipment is processed with precision, directly impacting our ability to meet customer delivery timelines.
Responsibilities-
Execute the safe loading and unloading of freight using sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks to maintain operational efficiency.

Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately track inventory and fulfill orders.

Inspect incoming shipments for quality and quantity, reconciling discrepancies against purchase orders to ensure data integrity.

Prepare products for transit by following standardized packing procedures, ensuring goods are protected for transport.

Coordinate with logistics partners to facilitate timely carrier pickups and streamline distribution workflows.

Maintain a high standard of workplace organization and safety, specifically within temperature-controlled freezer zones.
Qualifications-
Proven experience in a shipping and receiving or warehouse environment.

Valid forklift certification and hands-on experience with heavy machinery.

Proficiency with basic computer systems and digital scanning equipment.

Ability to perform physical tasks in a cold storage or freezer environment.

Strong attention to detail and ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for inventory management.

Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

Prior experience with MRP or AS400 software platforms.

Background in food and beverage manufacturing logistics.
