Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties. Work will be performed in Northwest Arkansas, the River Valley area and the rural areas in between. Your expertise will ensure optimal indoor air quality, energy efficiency, and system reliability. Responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately.
- Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend lifespan.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical problems using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic devices.
- Perform plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including refrigerant line repairs and drainage issues.
- Repair appliances and mechanical components, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Operate welding equipment when necessary for system repairs or modifications.
- Maintain detailed service records, reports, and logs for all field activities.
- Assist with HVAC design modifications or upgrades to improve system efficiency.
- Support property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R equipment to ensure continuous operation.
Skills
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC system repair and maintenance.
- Knowledge of construction practices related to HVAC installation projects.
- Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams for troubleshooting purposes.
- Mechanical knowledge of refrigeration systems, ammonia refrigeration, boilers, and appliances repair.
- Field service experience working on air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and property maintenance tasks.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively.
- Skilled in welding and equipment repair techniques for system modifications or emergency fixes.
- Experience with HVAC design principles to support system upgrades or new installations.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC setups is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with HVAC/R standards including refrigeration protocols like ammonia refrigeration systems. Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
