Job Description
Ayopa Inc. is looking for a dependable, hardworking Porter / Facilities Maintenance Technician for an immediate full-time opening servicing transportation facilities and public-use properties throughout the Orlando area.
This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys staying active, can work independently, and takes pride in keeping facilities clean, safe, and well maintained.
Experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who is reliable, responsible, and ready to work.
Important Location & Schedule Information

The job itself is located in Orlando, and your regular work assignments will be at facilities throughout the Orlando area.
However, all interviews, hiring paperwork, and onboarding are completed at our Sanford office. Candidates must be able to report to Sanford during the hiring process.
Once hired, employees will also need to pick up supplies from our Sanford office approximately every other week. The ideal candidate will have no issue making this trip as part of the position.
Saturday availability is required. Saturdays typically involve pressure washing and a different work schedule than the regular weekday assignment. Additional details regarding Saturday responsibilities and scheduling will be discussed during the interview process.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Porter / Facilities Maintenance Technician, you'll help maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition of assigned facilities. Your responsibilities may include:
- Maintaining transportation facilities and surrounding public areas
- Emptying trash receptacles and replacing liners
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and common areas
- Picking up litter and removing debris
- Cleaning water fountains, fixtures, equipment, and high-touch areas
- Performing pressure washing and exterior cleaning
- Assisting with graffiti and gum removal
- Maintaining the overall appearance of assigned properties
- Identifying and reporting maintenance or safety concerns
- Completing required inspections, photos, and service documentation
- Safely operating company-provided tools and equipment
- Following assigned schedules, safety procedures, and property requirements

- Is dependable and consistent with attendance
- Can work independently with minimal supervision
- Pays attention to details and notices when something needs attention
- Takes pride in leaving a property clean and presentable
- Can follow instructions and complete assigned responsibilities
- Is comfortable working outdoors in Florida weather
- Is professional and respectful when interacting with the public
- Can safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Is comfortable being on their feet and moving throughout the shift
- Has no issue reporting to Sanford approximately every other week for supplies
- Is available to work Saturdays as required
- Is looking for stable, long-term employment
Previous experience in porter services, janitorial work, custodial services, facilities maintenance, property maintenance, groundskeeping, pressure washing, or general labor is a plus.
