Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Broiler Cook to join our culinary team. In this vital role, you will prepare high-quality broiled dishes with precision and passion, ensuring every plate meets our standards of excellence. Your culinary expertise will contribute to delivering an outstanding dining experience for our guests, especially in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Duties
- Prepare and cook broiled dishes with skill, focusing on consistency and presentation.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, broilers, and food preparation tools.
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Assist with menu planning to create appealing and diverse broiled options that meet dietary needs.
- Handle food production tasks such as poaching, braising, grilling, and other cooking techniques to ensure variety and quality.
- Maintain high standards of food handling, safety, and sanitation throughout all stages of food preparation.
- Support the culinary team during meal service, catering events, and special functions with timely food preparation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a broiler cook or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or food service setting.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques including grilling, braising, poaching, and food preparation methods.
- Familiarity with food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures.
- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail in food handling and presentation.
- Experience working in high-volume production environments or fine dining settings is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
- Prior dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus but not required.
