Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! Duties
- Conduct regular inspections of building systems, including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), refrigeration units, electrical systems, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify root causes quickly.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems, and other mechanical equipment to ensure continuous operation.
- Lead small maintenance projects or team efforts when necessary, demonstrating leadership in coordinating tasks and managing resources effectively.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance logs for compliance and future reference.
- Assist in construction or renovation projects by providing technical expertise on mechanical systems and ensuring safety standards are met.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime and operational disruptions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or general equipment maintenance.
- Demonstrated ability to read schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting complex mechanical or electrical issues.
- Mechanical knowledge coupled with construction experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems—including air conditioning units—and refrigeration technology is essential.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide team members or coordinate maintenance efforts effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to diagnosing issues accurately.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards.
