Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements as a host/hostess when needed
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and special dishes to enhance guest experience
- Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in sales transactions processing
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, handling food safely, and supporting kitchen staff with food prep when necessary
- Provide exceptional guest service by addressing questions about menu items, offering wine knowledge, and managing guest relations effectively
Qualifications
- Prior food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
- Need to be able to upsell peking duck, lobster, whole fish and dim sum! (will give training)
- Strong knowledge of POS systems
- Demonstrated culinary experience along with beverage expertise including NA drinks, wine, sake, and food handling skills
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food preparation techniques

Pay: $180.00 - $450.00 per day
