Carawell Counseling, PLLC is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Couple’s and Family Therapist to join our talented team of clinicians. In this role, you will provide evidence-based psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals, couples, and families facing a variety of emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges.
Carawell Counseling PLLC is a private practice counseling group focused on women's mental health across the lifespan. We serve the South Charlotte area of Charlotte, NC in person, and we have the ability to serve other areas of NC via telehealth. Our focus in on well being in every phase of life. Our areas of expertise focus on a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, grief, relationships, parenting, co-dependency, caregiving, maternal mental health & academic or career pressures. We operate with an emphasis on high standards of practice and expertise in our field.
At Carawell Counseling, we believe in the significance of the mind/body connection in healing, and the ideal candidate would be working from that same mindset. Ability to support clients seeking faith-informed counseling is a plus. Candidates should also place priority on continued education and be motivated to provide best practices. We are a predominately insurance-based practice with some self-pay and out of network clients.

POSITION AVAILABLE: Independent Contracted Psychotherapist interested in working with couples and families.
Key Qualifications Include:
Education Requirements: Master’s Degree or Doctorate Degree ins Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Counseling or related field.Licensure Requirements:
Full or Associate NC clinical licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PhD)
Professional Experience: 2 years post graduate experience with Couples and Family Therapy. Training in Emotionally Focused Therapy or Gottman Method preferred.
Professional Requirements: Malpractice Insurance- $1,000,000/$3,000,000, Credentialed with major insurance companies (or eligible to be credentialed with 2 years post graduate experience).
Successful candidates shall have:
- -Sound experience in evidenced based best practices with couples and families
- -Ability to complete required paperwork for billing in an accurate and timely manner
- -Ability to complete and maintain all clinical records
- -Ability to represent Carawell Counseling in an ethical and professional manner with clients and in the community
- -Excellent communication skills and a passion for ongoing professional development
- Willingness to market themselves to grow their referral base and recognition in the community

Compensation:
~ Compensation is percentage-based on income-received.
