We are looking to hire a motivated, energetic and compassionate classroom team member. Our classes run Monday through Friday from 8:45-12:15. We offer afternoon enrichment until 2:15 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays.
Arrive daily at 8:45 to greet students and assist them upon arrival. Duties also include assisting the teachers with class set up, clean up, supervising children in the class and on playground, taking students to the bathroom, assisting them with hand washing, replenishing supplies, classroom activities, assisting with crafts, engaging and supervising children during class and lunch and assisting the teacher during the afternoon enrichment. The team member will also help at dismissal and assist in cleaning up the class. Responsibilities also include supporting the teachers and working with the teacher to make sure the state guidelines and class ratios are met.
We also offer a Monday Funday once a month until 1:45. We are also looking for a team member who has flexible and would be able to assist with Monday Funday.
We are seeking candidates with experience in a preschool or daycare environment. Candidates with a teaching certification or knowledge of licensing requirements a plus. There may be opportunities to collaborate with other team members for lesson planning ideas and in coordinating engaging activities. A background check, fingerprints and a TB Mantoux screen are required.
Learning Tree Preschool is a wonderful environment. Our 3's and Pre-K classes each have 15 students enrolled and two teachers. We are looking for a flexible team player to help us daily and to facilitate our events and programs throughout the year. Our school is small and we foster a warm environment for our students, their families and our staff. Our school is open September to June. We follow the Red Bank School District Calendar.
