We are seeking experienced Low Voltage Electricians for a commercial project in Omaha, NE. Candidates must have experience running and installing Cat 5 cable in commercial construction environments and be able to work efficiently on an active jobsite.
Position Overview:
Low Voltage Electricians will support installation of structured cabling systems, assist with cable routing and termination, and ensure all work is completed according to project specifications and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run and install Cat 5 cable throughout commercial facilities
- Pull, route, and secure low voltage wiring
- Assist with cable terminations and device installations
- Read and follow basic prints and layout drawings
- Label and organize cabling systems properly
- Maintain clean and safe work areas
- Work alongside other trades and project teams to meet deadlines
Requirements:
- Experience with Cat 5 cable installation required
- Commercial low voltage experience preferred
- Ability to use hand tools and basic testing equipment
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
- Ability to work full-time hours on an active construction site
- Must follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
