Assistant Manager – Yeems Coffee (Gardena, CA)
Yeems Coffee is looking for a dedicated Assistant Manager to join our team at our Gardena location! We’re a specialty coffee shop focused on delivering excellent service, high-quality coffee, and a warm community atmosphere.
Position Details:
- Location: Gardena, CA
- Employment Type: Full-time (5 days a week)
- Availability: Must be available on weekends
- Starting Pay: $23/hr during the probationary period
Who We’re Looking For:
We are looking for a hardworking and kind individual with coffee and managerial experience who can help lead our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about specialty coffee, has a strong work ethic, and can foster a positive and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth service and team efficiency
- Lead and support baristas, fostering a strong and collaborative team culture
- Maintain high standards for coffee quality and customer service
- Assist with scheduling, training, and performance management
- Ensure store cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety standards
- Handle customer interactions, feedback, and conflict resolution professionally
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a managerial role within a coffee shop is required
- Strong knowledge of coffee
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt as needed
- Reliable, responsible, and committed to maintaining a great team culture
- Availability to work weekends and full-time (5 days a week)
