Job Summary: BreadPartners, Inc. is currently looking for a motivated and responsible Truck Driver with a Class B license and Air Brakes endorsement to join our team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating our conventional box truck to transport and deliver our product safely to our customer locations. This position offers an excellent opportunity for drivers with experience in commercial driving and route delivery. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to smooth logistics operations.
Duties
- Safely operate our conventional Class B truck equipped with air brakes across designated routes while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload freight using our electric pallet jack.
- Proper handling and securement of cargo.
- Manage route driving efficiently by planning optimal paths to meet delivery schedules and minimize delays.
- Assist with freight inspection prior to loading and after unloading to ensure accuracy and damage-free cargo.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the truck to ensure safe operation throughout shifts.
- Follow all company policies related to safety procedures, load securement, and documentation for deliveries.
Skills
- Valid Class B driver’s license with Air Brakes endorsement is required.
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving.
- Experience handling food products desired, but not required.
- Experience with using an electric pallet jack.
- Strong knowledge of route planning and delivery procedures in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to load & unload freight accurately while following safety protocols.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with customers and our purchasing agent.
Pay: From $29.00 per hour
