Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Assistant Teacher/Floater to join our dynamic early childhood education team. Duties
- Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities, lesson planning, and curriculum implementation
- Support children’s developmental needs by engaging in age-appropriate activities focused on literacy, math, and social skills
- Provide hands-on care for children including toddler care, preschool activities, and behavior management strategies
- Help maintain a well-organized classroom environment that promotes safety, cleanliness, and learning readiness
- Float between classrooms as needed to support staff coverage and ensure all children receive attentive care
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to foster a collaborative learning community
- Implement classroom management techniques that encourage positive behavior and respect among students
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and special education strategies
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to manage classroom behavior and implement behavior management techniques
- Certification or training in childhood education or related fields is desirable but not mandatory
