QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED and three (3) to five (5) years of progressively responsible related experience; or any combination of training, education, or experience which provides the desired knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: First Aid and CPR certification; Confined Space Entry certification; valid Commercial Driver's License, Class B upon hire and ability to obtain a Class A within six (6) months; and the ability to maintain insurability under the City's vehicle insurance policy; Class II Wastewater License desired.

INHERENTLY HAZARDOUS OR PHYSICALLY DEMANDING WORKING CONDITIONS: The employee has exposure to chemical compounds found in an office environment (e.g., toner, correction fluid, etc.); is exposed to environmental conditions which may result in injury from fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, and/or poorly ventilated work areas; ascends or descends ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps; is exposed to possible injury from hazardous gases, chemicals, flammables, or air contaminates; is exposed to possible injury as a result of working with moving mechanical parts of equipment or machines; is exposed to possible injury due to unclean or unsanitary conditions; works irregular hours; subject to 24-hour call-out; is exposed to loud noises; regularly required to lift, carry, push or pull objects 50 lbs. or less; occasionally required to lift, carry, push or pull objects 100 lbs. or less.
