Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive inspections and diagnostics on RVs, including electrical systems, engines, transmissions, suspension, HVAC, and plumbing.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to disassemble and reassemble vehicle components accurately and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot automotive electrical systems using diagnostic equipment to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Repair or replace assemblies such as HVAC units, shocks & struts, axles, brakes, and suspension components to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Conduct heavy lifting safely during equipment repair or vehicle maintenance tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist customers with service inquiries and provide expert advice on vehicle care and maintenance options.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience or service technician background working with recreational vehicles or similar large vehicles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repair procedures.
- Electrical experience including automotive electrical systems troubleshooting and soldering skills.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and plumbing tools for various repair tasks.
- Knowledge of automotive body repair techniques and equipment repair methods.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
