We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and highly organized Dental Treatment Coordinator to take ownership of our front-office, insurance, financial, and treatment-coordination workflows.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a confident, accountable professional seeking a stable, long-term career with our practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Front desk, phones, scheduling, check-in/check-out, confirmations & patient communication
- New patient coordination and schedule optimization
- Dental insurance verification & detailed benefit breakdowns
- Calculate accurate patient/insurance estimates
- Submit claims, pre-authorizations, narratives & supporting documentation
- Follow up on outstanding/denied claims, insurance aging & A/R
- Post EOBs/payments and maintain accurate patient accounts
- Prepare and present comprehensive treatment plans
- Explain insurance benefits, patient portions and financial options
- Consistently follow up on pending/unscheduled treatment
- Drive treatment acceptance and case conversion through confident, ethical communication
- Collect copays, balances and treatment deposits
- Coordinate patient financing through CareCredit and Cherry
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow through from start to finish
- Work closely with the doctor and clinical team to ensure an excellent patient experience
Ideal Candidate
- 2+ years dental front-office/treatment coordination experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of PPO insurance, claims, benefits & dental terminology
- Proven experience presenting treatment and discussing finances
- CareCredit/Cherry experience preferred
- Open Dental experience is a plus
- Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills
- Confident, professional and comfortable with accountability
- Self-motivated and able to work independently without constant supervision
- Reliable, punctual and consistent with follow-through
- Team-oriented, professional, low-drama and solution-focused

Pay: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
