Duties
- Lead team practices, drills, and games with enthusiasm while emphasizing sportsmanship and teamwork
- Provide clear instructions on basketball techniques, rules, and strategies to enhance player development
- Monitor player behavior and implement effective behavior management strategies to maintain a positive environment
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding player progress, upcoming events, and program updates
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in sports or educational settings is highly preferred
- Strong background in basketball coaching or playing at a competitive level.
- Knowledge of sports-specific training instruction, team leadership, and behavior management techniques
- Excellent communication skills for effective client (parent/guardian) interaction and team coordination
