Now Hiring - Building & Grounds Maintenance
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Building and Grounds Maintenance Worker to join a local team on second shift. The ideal candidate will independently manage time and tasks while ensuring the cleanliness, functionality, and upkeep of the facility and grounds during a Monday - Thursday afternoon schedule.
Key Responsibilities:

Facility Cleaning: Dust, mop, and vacuum hallways. Empty garbage and recycle cans. Maintain floors, restrooms, and break rooms.

Grounds Maintenance: Lawn care, landscaping, and sidewalk maintenance. Upkeep of water features, patio, smoking area, and parking lot. Snow removal during winter months.

Building Repairs and Maintenance: Structural repairs: floors, doors, ceilings, locks, and windows. Painting and touch-ups. Electrical repairs: replace receptacles, switches, light bulbs, ballasts, and fixtures. Plumbing repairs: fix faucets, sinks, toilets, unclog drains, and more.

Additional Responsibilities: Work independently while efficiently managing time.
Qualifications:

Prior experience in building and grounds maintenance is preferred.

Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and structural repairs.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Must be able to pass a background screening.

Must have a valid driver's license and pass a motor vehicle check.
