Position Summary
We are looking for a dependable, hard-working Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for picking and packing orders, receiving shipments, following and implementing operational processes, making customer deliveries in the company box truck, and supporting light manufacturing activities when required. The right candidate takes ownership of their work, shows up ready to contribute, and treats customers and teammates with respect. We will provide hands on training and growth opportunities for team members who demonstrate reliability, initiative, and willingness to learn.
Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and put away inbound shipments accurately
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for delivery or shipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory
- Operate basic material handling equipment (pallet jacks, hand trucks, forklifts)
- Support converting activities and machine operations
o Learn basic manufacturing workflows to provide flexible coverage across the production floor
- Perform local and regional deliveries to customer facilities using a company vehicle
o Ensure orders are loaded correctly, delivered on time, and in good condition
o Obtain delivery confirmations and maintain accurate delivery records
o Represent The Binding Source professionally at every customer interaction
Required Qualifications
- Valid Connecticut driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift
- Math and English reading skills
- Reliable personal transportation to and from the Torrington facility
- Prior warehouse, shipping/receiving, or delivery experience a plus
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
- Location: On-site, Torrington, CT
