Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality anesthesia care to patients during endoscopic procedures. This role requires a strong foundation in patient assessment, critical care, and anesthesia management, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing preventative and diagnostic procedures.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate anesthesia plans.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition during procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Manage airway interventions as necessary, demonstrating proficiency in airway management techniques.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to optimize patient outcomes and address any complications that may arise.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and NCQA standards.
- Provide pain management solutions tailored to individual patient needs.
- Stay current with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and physiology knowledge relevant to anesthesiology practice.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic for efficient patient data management.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills in geriatrics, pediatrics, and critical care.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
- Proven experience in anesthesiology settings.
- Strong background in patient care, including experience administering injections and monitoring vital signs.
- Familiarity with medical documentation practices and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Knowledge of pain management techniques and protocols.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
