Craft Cocktail Bartender – Downtown Asheville (Evening Position) at Hotel Eve Jazz & Cocktail Lounge
Schedule: Evenings, Wednesday–Sunday
Compensation: Hourly rate + shared tip pool, backed by a guarantee
About the Position:
An intimate jazz cocktail lounge in downtown Asheville is seeking a skilled Craft Cocktail Bartender to join its team. The space features weekly live jazz performances and a curated beverage program. We’re looking for someone who values quality, professionalism, consistency, and meaningful connection, and who can help create an elevated yet welcoming guest experience.
Responsibilities:

Craft and serve exceptional cocktails with attention to flavor balance, presentation, and speed
- Execute and maintain batch cocktail production with accuracy and consistency
- Demonstrate strong working knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits
- Handle cash-handling and nightly deposit responsibilities with honesty
- Serve as a key holder, ensuring proper opening and closing procedures
- Maintain bar organization, cleanliness, and adherence to ABC and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with co-bartenders and cocktail server to ensure seamless operations
- Provide professional, polished, and personable service to every guest
Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years experience in a craft cocktail or upscale hospitality environment
- Excellent understanding of classic and modern cocktail technique
- Confident knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer
- Dependable, professional, and detail-oriented
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Availability Wednesday–Sunday evenings
