Overview
Join our growing team at SamBright Developmental Center LLC as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). In this role, you will provide direct, one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with autism and other developmental disabilities in home and community settings.
This is a hands-on, highly impactful position where you will work closely with a supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans that support behavior reduction and skill development. Your consistency, compassion, and professionalism will play a key role in helping children build independence and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized ABA treatment plans under the supervision of a BCBA
- Provide direct therapy in clients’ homes and community settings (not clinic-based)
- Collect, record, and maintain accurate data on client progress during each session
- Assist with skill acquisition programs, including communication, social, and daily living skills
- Support clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as grooming, feeding, and toileting as needed
- Use evidence-based behavior strategies, including positive reinforcement and behavior reduction techniques
- Complete detailed session notes and documentation in a timely manner in compliance with HIPAA
- Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging environment for clients
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and clinical team members to ensure consistency of care
- Participate in supervision, training, and team meetings as required
Requirements
- Active RBT Certification required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred
- Strong understanding of ABA principles and willingness to learn and apply feedback
- Ability to accurately collect and record behavioral data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be patient, reliable, energetic, and compassionate
Additional Requirements
- Must pass a background check
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel between client locations
- Ability to engage in physical activities (e.g., sitting on the floor, running, playing)
- Availability for consistent weekly scheduling
Work Environment
- Services are provided in-home and in the community (daycare, school, or public settings)
- Sessions are play-based, structured, and individualized to each child
- This role requires flexibility and adaptability across different environments

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
