Job Summary
Provide advanced administrative and clerical support for Human Resources department.
Essential Functions

Assist with posting job vacancies and conducting secondary interviews.

Process candidate background checks, schedule pre-hire drug testing, and obtain reference checks.

Assign new employee onboarding materials and compliance training. Obtain necessary licenses / certifications from new employees.

Coordinate, schedule and conduct new hire orientation.

Issue and deactivate employee and vendor identification badges to include maintenance of badge records.

Process and maintain accurate, confidential employee records using the company's Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and electronic personnel files.

Maintain company-wide ORG chart and various HR records.

Responsible for updating and maintaining uniform and office equipment reimbursement eligibility and records.

Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.

Assist with new employee benefits administration and annual open enrollment. Assist employees with enrollment and eligibility questions regarding health, dental, vision plans.

Maintain roster for eligibility and notify employees of enrollment in 401K plan.

Responsible for obtaining and maintaining dependent verification documentation for insurance enrollment. Assist with insurance opt-out program to include enrollment in opt-out program, obtaining, and providing required documentation to payroll department.

Serve as a point of contact for staff queries regarding company policies, benefits, and standard procedures. Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc. referring more complex questions to HR Manager.

Responsible for employee birthday and anniversary recognition programs and service awards.
Requirements:
Education: High school diploma required. An associate's in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field strongly preferred.
Experience: Required 2+ years HR experience with strong preference in healthcare experience.
Communication: Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Confidentiality: High level of discretion when handling sensitive personal and financial data.
Technical Proficiency: Digital fluency and experience with modern Human Resource Information System (HRIS) / Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and advanced knowledge in Excel and Word.
